This entrepreneurial PR and corporate communications agency is currently looking to extend their financial services team of experienced experts with a corporate communications associate director to support this next stage of growth.  Due to their strong reputation within the industry they have a very sought after client base in banking, professional services and technology which they are now looking to expand.  The management team are looking for someone with a strong network and business builder, super client advisory skills and a great team manager in order to fit into the tight knit team.  A fair amount of international leads come their way and they would like someone who has international campaign experience or an international mind-set to help leverage them.

The Role 

Key challenges and opportunities in this Corporate PR Associate Director role:

  • Leading on existing client accounts within the financial services sector across banks, trading platforms,  professional services and financial technology – they will gradually introduce you to their clients although they will expect you to bring in some too and help them build – leads and support abounds
  • Use your network to help bring in leads alongside jumping on the relevant pitches with proposals – the Chairman and owner are well connected internationally and will help bring in leads
  • Your advisory skills will be stretched as you will deliver premium advice at CEO and Chairman level
  • Use your contacts to bring in business and in return you will be well rewarded well
  • Enjoy the scope of influencing the future of a business and bring your commercial ideas to the table
  • Your strong management skills are required as this team runs like a well-oiled machine

The Person

Key attributes and experience for this Corporate PR Associate Director role:

  • Driven and entrepreneurial and looking for something which has the promise of a very shiny future
  • You will be an ambitious agency account director or associate director with corporate PR experience – ideally you will also have some financial services client experience, ideally handling clients across banking, asset management, insurance and alternative investments, professional services (or one of these)
  • Must have strong new business track record and be a great presenter
  • Excellent advisory and crisis management skills
  • International mind-set, perhaps you have lived abroad before or enjoy international campaigns
  • Current media contacts at a national level as you will be hands on here
  • Happy to sell different disciplines and takes a more holistic approach to comms
