Global Head of Media Relations at successful on-line retailer (5242)
As Head of Media Relations you will oversee major group corporate announcements, reactive comms for the Group and their brands, as well as designing and driving forward a UK media engagement programme. This is an excellent opportunity to join the inhouse team of a high-profile and innovative brand. The role is suitable for a practitioner with retail/ tech/luxury sector experience and superb media handling skills. The role will be 80% proactive and 20% reactive.
This well-known on-line retailer owns a range of high-profile brands. They operate globally and the global remit of this role will be covering Asia and the Middle East as they build out the brands.
The corporate communications team has recently restructured, and this person will manage the press office and a PR Manager and deal with lots of strategic announcements on group level. They will also look for opportunities for stories across the brands.
