If you are looking to hit the ground running and manage multiple high-profile accounts, there is no better place to be.  With a mix of corporate and financial communications, there is a great deal of momentum and you will have the opportunity to take ownership of established brands in an agile, fast growing PR consultancy. This person will play a key role in the day-to-day management of relations with the business, ranging from financial media through to high profile and complex communications, IPOs and mergers.

This consultancy work with a variety of stakeholders including government, they offer senior advice around M&A, issues and crisis management and as an Associate Director you will gain a great deal of senior level/CEO exposure. 

With clients ranging from FTSE businesses to prominent, growing businesses across a variety of sectors, the emphasis is on the quality of the work and most crucially, the results that are achieved.

There is strong momentum and a chance to influence in this entrepreneurial company. The Role 

Key challenges and opportunities in this Associate Director role:

  • Be responsible for directing client accounts and the day to day relationships with clients at a senior level, helping to create new business opportunities
  • Play a strong role within the organisation, managing relationships and career development
  • Act as an advisor, giving strategic and tactical advice to high profile clients in financial transactions
  • Be part of their growth strategy and help to build the best client portfolio and team
  • Play a significant role across a range of communications including financial mandates, M&A, IPO, corporate positioning and crisis management
  • Material role in new business pitches where your contribution counts

The Person


Key attributes and experience for this Associate Director role:

  • It’s likely that you are currently working at Associate Director or Account Director level in a corporate and financial communications consultancy looking for more autonomy and a place where you can shine
  • Social/digital experience is a bonus
  • You will enjoy managing and encouraging others and have a collaborative, ‘roll up your sleeves’ approach
  • Experience of issues management, M&A /financial transactions, corporate positioning at C-Suite level ideally with mid cap/FTSE companies
  • Ideally you will arrive with a pre-existing network although this is not essential as they will also consider a safe pair of hands
  • You must be hungry to move on and up, collegiate in your approach and have client servicing at the heart of how you deliver and have an entrepreneurial drive
  • Good education credentials are ideal
